Veilchain is Algen’s privacy engine, bringing protocol-level confidentiality to the entire ecosystem. By constructing an end-to-end encrypted transaction pipeline — spanning Encrypted RPC, Encrypted Mempool, and Ciphertext Storage — Veilchain ensures that plaintext data is never exposed in public memory throughout the full transaction lifecycle: from submission, ordering, and execution to on-chain storage.
Veilchain introduces encrypted transaction types that achieve sender anonymity (Hide Sender), receiver anonymity (Hide Receiver), amount privacy (Hide Amount), and data privacy (Hide Data). Encryption rules are embedded in the transaction type itself, ensuring historical transactions remain verifiable and recoverable without modifying the execution layer.
By introducing an Encrypted Mempool, Veilchain eliminates the information asymmetry exploited by MEV bots. Attackers cannot decrypt transaction content before sequencing is complete, rendering front-running, sandwich attacks, and transaction censorship effectively impossible — creating a level playing field for all participants.
For institutional and RWA use cases, Veilchain isolates sensitive business data on-chain — including trade secrets, asset valuations, and financial details — preventing exposure to competitors or malicious actors while maintaining on-chain verifiability through cryptographic proofs.
Veilchain provides a tiered permission architecture where regulators can access necessary information through designated channels, while data remains invisible to general participants. This mechanism supports cross-border compliance audits, data sovereignty requirements, and selective on-chain disclosure — balancing privacy protection with regulatory obligations.
